Indian Cricket Team announces for T20 world cup 2010

The National Selectors of Indian Cricket Team announces the players which will play in the Twenty-20 World Cup 2010 which will happen in West Indies from 30th April to 16th May 2010.

The team involves some players who are recently playing in the DLF, IPL 2010 season third. First time, Karnataka fast bowler Vinay Kumar will play in the Twenty20 World Cup, third edition which is only the new face in the India’s fifteen player’s team while Piyush Chawla has been now handed on a recall.

Team for the WORLD CUP TWENTY20:

SQUAD: MS Dhoni (capt & wk), Virender Sehwag (vice capt), Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Zaheer Khan, Praveen Kumar, Ashish Nehra, Harbhajan Singh, Piyush Chawla (new face), Vinay Kumar (new face), Rohit Sharma

There is also the time of disappointment for Pacer Ishant Sharma and Shreeshant who are not been selected in the Twenty20 World Cup, third edition. Some good performers of the IPL 2010 like Robin Uthappa of RCB, Saurabh Tiwary & Sachin Tendulkar of MI and Murali Kartik of KKR are also excluded from the Twenty20 World Cup. Sachin Tendulkar who is performing very good in the IPL 2010 is also not been selected for the third edition of the Twenty20 World Cup even he has won 3 times man of the match.

India has won the Twenty20 World Cup once in the two editions.
