Management graduate turned chartered accountant turned fashion designer. Started the AKI label in 1996 from Calcutta. Worked with Lintas as a management trainee. Regional winner of Damania Fashion Award 1994. Had his first show with "Melange", Mumbai at Opera House. Moving from a single-tailor outlet in 1996 to 11 stores nationwide and a team of 20.
